Scotland funds the heat pump side of the package properly: up to £7,500 from Home Energy Scotland (£9,000 in remote rural, island and off-gas areas), plus an optional £7,500 interest-free loan. There is no HES grant or loan for solar PV or batteries.
What applies to the solar and battery side in 2026:
