Aventus installed an ASHP heating system for us in a 1950s house in Newton Mearns. Initially we contacted them to help us future proof our home as we were planning some retrofit works. They carried out the preparatory pipework during the build & were very good at working around our timeline and liaising with the builders. Following this we decided to see it through and had the new heat pump installed towards the end of the building works.

During the installation, the team were all very polite and helpful. We had the majority of pipework replaced with copper alongside 4 new radiators & a cylinder installation which was all carried out to a high standard.  The team were patient with our specific requests.  We are delighted with the dark grey Panasonic unit & appreciated the fact the unit is not over specified which means that it sits neatly underneath our new windows.

There were various post install issues however these were resolved with a professional attitude.  So far we have found the house to be very cosy with exceptionally hot water which exceeds our expectations.  Time will tell over the winter how efficient it is given the age of the house, however we feel reassured having Aventus by our side and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

We wanted to retrofit our home to improve energy efficiency, change to an air source heat pump (ASHP) and add solar panels and a battery. Aventus Eco was recommended by a Retrofit Consultancy.

Sean clearly explained and planned out the processes for our ASHP. We really felt that he was interested to make it work well for us.

Installation was smooth. The team was well coordinated and communicated well during the process. They completed the work to a very high standard and minimised any disruption to our home.

We were so impressed with the ASHP fitting that we quickly followed this up with Aventus Eco planning and installing our solar panels and battery.

Changing from gas central heating to renewables isn’t simple but, having asked four companies to quote to convert our system, Sean stood out as someone who cared about getting the design right, optimising it for our house while clearly explaining how and why. He helped us understand how heat pumps, solar panels and batteries all work together and gave us confidence that the conversion would be possible and relatively simple.
The Anvetus installation team were brilliant - polite and efficient with a can-do attitude to problem solving. They cared about our property, checking in with us as they worked and clearing up as much as possible each day. Everything felt planned and coordinated and a heat pump, new hot water tank and system, 10 solar panels and a battery were installed and up and running in a week, despite some unexpected challenges along the way.

Our household was going through the Home Energy Scotland grant and loan scheme as we qualified for a heat pump. Sean came recommended by an insulation company and I’m glad that I reached out.

Despite being very busy, Sean was keen to get a solution for us, his knowledge and work ethic came across immediately so we were happy to have Aventus take on the work.
Meeting, survey, work scheduled, and completed to a very high standard.

Sean and the team at Aventus Eco did a fantastic job installing our air source heat pump.

They were really friendly, proactive and efficient throughout the whole process. After trying to find a suitable air source heat pump installer for a number of years, Sean filled us with confidence from the moment we met him. He was the first person who properly reassured us about the design, the suitability of the system and the long-term cost benefits.

The installation itself was carried out with real care and professionalism. The team put everything back in place afterwards and left the house as though they had never been there.

Since the instal, the house now constantly feels like it is at a comfortable temperature, and the amount of energy we use on a daily basis compared to our old electric boiler has been reduced. We are looking forward to seeing how this continues in the colder months.

Sean and the team at Aventus Eco provided exceptional support when we needed it most. Our heat pump had been incorrectly installed by another company that has since gone into liquidation, leaving us with nearly three years of no heating, ongoing faults, and constant leaks.
Aventus Eco truly saved the day. Sean quickly identified the issues that had caused continuous problems for years and resolved them properly. We finally have warmth in our home again, along with peace of mind and renewed hope.

You would have to look far and wide to find a Company as helpful as Aventus Eco .
Sean from Aventus was able to face time my dad and talk him through concerns about how his air source heat pump was performing during cold weather .

I had been struggling with unusually high electricity consumption—around 50 kWh per day—due to my air source heat pump system. Despite reaching out to multiple companies, including the original installer, no one was willing to help or even respond.

Sean promptly visited my home, conducted a thorough evaluation of all relevant factors, and successfully identified the root cause of the issue. Exactly as the process should be – right from start to finish

Aventus Eco fitted solar panels, battery storage and an air-source heat pump, and the whole experience has been great.

There was no hard sell from these guys, just lots of advice from people who clearly care about what they do, their business and their reputation. They took the time to get the design right for my home, including properly working out our power use and heat loss and sizing everything accordingly.

The solar panels were a no brainer, but Aventus suggested right sizing the solar panels and adding battery storage. Home energy when the sun’s not shining – brilliant. It’s working flawlessly. The heat pump means I’m no longer dependent on global oil and I’ve cut my carbon footprint.

Heat pumps get a lot of bad press, often due to hard-sell companies pushing numbers rather than doing the job properly. The difference here is the care Aventus put in, and the work they have done with Heat Geek and their accreditation process (check their Youtube videos). That was the deciding factor.  None of the other companies I spoke to had it. It gave me real confidence everything would be set up properly — and it shows.

Originally, I wanted to keep the oil boiler “just in case”. I’m glad I took the leap to ditch it and trust the Aventus design. The house is comfortable and warm throughout.

Neat install, great communication, and they made the grant process easy. Aventus Eco combine technical know-how with genuine customer care, and I’d happily recommend them.

Outstanding service, difficult decision to make to change to air source heat pump especially give the level of misinformation.  Sean/Aventus Eco were outstanding in helping me explore and decide that this was right solution.  Additionally it involved full house re-plumb because of problems with the old system,  This was handled sensitively and professionally by all the members of the team with Sean setting very high expectations for everyone. We've had very attentive customer service from Sean, and are very happy with the outcome of the installation of solar panels & batteries. We are also grateful for his knowledge and input into adjusting our heat pump and currently our bills are massively reduced. We initially had Sean over to provide a quote, and as we didn’t know much about heat pumps, he explained everything clearly and in a way we could easily understand. He emphasized the importance of proper heat loss calculations for our property, which helped us determine which existing radiators we could keep. Sean also walked us through how the system would operate once installed and shared tips on how to get the best efficiency from it.

When the team came to install the system, the entire process was incredibly streamlined and completed in just three days. The guys made sure to cover all our carpets and left the place spotless. I can honestly say Sean and his team were fantastic—our heat pump is now up and running, and even on the coldest days, our energy usage is nearly half compared to gas.
